About Medellin Venues

Medellin Venues is an independent English-language service that helps people find the right venue in Medellin, Colombia, for a wedding, a milestone celebration, or a company offsite. We are based in Medellin. We do not operate any venues ourselves and we are not a licensed real-estate agency, a production company, or a wedding planner.

The service is free for the person booking. Depending on the agreement, venues, planners or other operators may pay for qualifying inquiries or pay a referral fee when an introduced booking closes. Our published shortlists are not paid placements; the arrangement is disclosed when we discuss a partnership.

Why we exist

Medellin's largest wedding vendor directory closed in December 2025 and the English-language coverage of Medellin for events of any kind is thin. Foreign couples, families planning from abroad, and companies bringing teams here have real trouble finding neutral, current information in English. This site fills that gap.

What we do

We keep a running catalog of venues and operators worth comparing, with the facts that matter for someone booking from abroad: drive time from the airport, English support, lodging, rain plan, noise curfew, and for companies whether the venue can issue a factura and whether the wifi has been checked. We ask a few questions in a qualifier and send back a shortlist that fits. We introduce couples to bilingual planners and productions to fixers when the situation calls for it. We publish honest guides on cost, paperwork, permits, and venue comparison.

What we do not do

We do not give legal, tax, or immigration advice. We do not plan events, coordinate vendors, or run productions; the planners, operators, and fixers we introduce do that. We do not fabricate reviews, testimonials, capacities, or prices to make anything look better than it is. We do not package bachelor parties.
